Hello, i am in need of help! i downloaded the trial version and worked as you said but i need to ask some question that are not in the help request inside.
1: Do i need to have a strong internet to run the server on my pc ?
2: If i buy any of your servers how would i load it into a website? what i mean is if people want to play they should enter my website to load the server how would this be? i should create my own website or what?
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Help

Re: Help
The more bandwidth you have (uplink and downlink), the more players you can support at any given time. Up to a few hundred players, depending on the hardware.rmelkonian wrote: 1: Do i need to have a strong internet to run the server on my pc ?
There are basically two ways to do it. Poker Mavens acts as its own crude web server so it can run as-is without an existing web site. This is how I've setup my demo system at http://www.pmserver.net where Poker Mavens is the only server running, there is no IIS or Apache web server running. If you prefer to embed the client so it appears inside an existing web page, simply create an iframe tag with the positioning and dimensions you want and the src parameter set to URL of the Poker Mavens server, which could be on the same machine (if it's Windows) or anywhere else in the world.2: If i buy any of your servers how would i load it into a website?

Re: Help
I have a link at the top of my demo site at http://www.pmserver.net that points to my host. I pay $29/month for a Windows 2003 VPS. I connect to it using the Remote Desktop Connection program included with Windows on my local PC. See the first couple of items in the FAQ for more info:rmelkonian wrote:Okay well here is what i am going to but need your help i want to buy a hosting and run it there? can you give me a good hosting site please? and if i want to host it on a other computer how would i be installing the software on the hosting pc? i would tell them to do it for me or how does it goes? thank you

It's unlikely that your host will install any software for you. It's easy using RDC, though. You just connect to your server and drag and drop files via Windows Explorer and install and run software just like you do locally.

Re: Help
I suggest you download and install the trial version of Poker Mavens and read through the help file. Once you do that, you will already know how to install and operate the licensed version.rmelkonian wrote:okay so i should buy in the site for a host then i need to buy the maven game right? then i just load it on the server? and will i have accces to make a account on my pc or everytime i should connect to the server pc to make a account?
