10 man final table?

For multi-table tournaments, is there any way to have 9 man tables for tournament, but collapse to a single table when it gets down to 10 players rather than have 2 tables both playing 5 handed until someone gets knocked out? A lot of live tournaments do this(and some, such as the WSOP, even collapse to a single table at 11 remaining) as it avoids too much shorthanded play prior to the final table. Thanks!

Yes!! 9-handed starting tables combining to 10 (standard +1) for final table would be really great :)

in light of the current pandemic, maybe 8 starting, combining to 9 FT would be safer ;)
Basically just another +1 scenario.

Disagree, 5 handed with plexiglass table image templates.

I agree. The live tournaments I played in prior to the world turning upside down a few months ago were 9 handed UNTIL the final table, which was 10 handed. I heartily endorse this wish list item.

+1
Especially for 4 max tournaments - final table of 5
Also 6 max tournaments should have a final table of 7
