Wish List

What a terrific piece of software. As the admin, I've been so impressed with the product's functionality and ease of use. And it's been such a welcome diversion for our home game group, which has really relied on it since CV has made live games impossible. I have also really appreciated the developer's responsiveness! Anyway, I have compiled a small # of wish list items from the group after a couple of weeks of play. I am listing them in order of importance (at least among our people)
1. Run It Twice (and Thrice, ideally): We play a lot of pretty big hands, and especially in PLO, the volatility can be kind of insane. We are used to doing a fair amount of business in the live game to help reduce that, and a run it twice (or more) option would be a huge help on tamping down some of that vol. I know it's been mentioned in here in the past and is hopefully in the works for the next update, just reiterating the interest. I happen to like run it three times since no one likes ties (ie split pots!)
2. Random seating option. At our game, we have some guys who you definitely want on your right, so online those seats are clearly the most highly desired (in our home game, we pick cards for seats). There should be a random seating with no seat changes allowed option, where a player is given a random open seat when requesting a spot (I suppose people could always get up and sit back down to try and get a better seat, but that kind of behavior would be quickly noticed and frowned upon!)
3. Bounty tourneys. We had our first tourney recently and players loved it but they wanted to the option to add a 'knockout' chip to the entry fee, which you collect when you knock out a player from the tourney.
4. Tourney clock. I know the info is in the menu but folks really like seeing at least some basic information like current level, time left in current level, next blinds, avg stack remaining, on the current table graphic to see at a quick obvious glance. Not sure if the issue is game slowing down or just being tougher since it would require a different style-table graphic. Maybe you could just add a 'Tourney Clock' option in the menu that resembles the TV screens seen at most casinos running live tourneys (# of entries, players remaining, payouts (if reg closed), current level, time remaining in current level, blinds next level, time of next break)
5. Show one card. Would like this as an option for players, at least for when after the hand is over (in our home game, we actually allow for in-hand card reveals if it is heads up). Showing one card can either be a friendly way to let your opponent know they made a nice fold or a mean way to make them wonder and put them on tilt. Win-win! I think Bluff Ave. has this feature - show L, show R. That site sucked but that was a nice feature
6. Rabbit hunting. Bluff Ave also had this, which was fun. I think I saw it earlier in the forum as well, and even if you can put it in the hand history section so the game doesn't slow, that'd be cool.
7. Automatic ring game table start option. A lot of players don't like playing shorthanded so will sit down at a table but then sit out so they aren't forced into a hand when another player sits down. But then it's awkward about when people should start pressing 'Ready' and you can't time it simultaneously. Ring tables should include an option where dealing automatically begins when there are X # of people at a table. Or maybe a box that players can check while sitting down (and out) that says 'Start game' and will start when X # of players check the box. I'm not entirely sure how this would work.
Anyway, thanks again for your hard work, Kent!
