Possible to edit a tournament while running?

Is is possible to edit a tournament while it is running by saving the registrations, take tournament offline, make edits, reload registrations and put back online? Would the tournament then resume were it was taken offline? Doesn't seem like it would but just checking.

No, once the tournament starts the registrants turn into players. Stopping a running tournament causes the remaining prize pool to be distributed and it cannot be restarted.
