It looks like Google changed their policy regarding "less secure" app access as of May 30th. I assume that is what is giving me an error when I try to do something in PM that generates an Email. This was working before, but this is the first time I have tried it since patching to 7.06. Since I got a notice from Google about the policy change, I assume it is that, and not the patch, that is causing my issue. Does anyone have any advice on getting around this? I am going to try the following:
1. Try to configure an app password. I have not done this before.
2. Try a different mail service for the SMTP relay.

The app password feature is the way to go. I updated my FAQ awhile back to recommend this option. Log into your Google account and go into the Security section. You have to first enable 2-Step Verification and after that the Apps Password feature should be available.BaxtersClub wrote: ↑Tue May 31, 2022 3:18 pm 1. Try to configure an app password. Yes, thanks. That worked great. I had already taken your advice to setup an account just for the poker server, so this was a breeze.
