Admin Console Lockup in 7.00

There's a serious bug in the admin console that will cause it to lockup in an infinite loop situation if either the error log or event log hit 10000 items. Until I get a patch out, the temporary fix is to lower your "Maximum log items" settings in the Log Settings group from the default value of 10000 down to a smaller number like 5000 or less. This does not affect the actual log files in your data folder. It just specifies how many items are held in memory and sent to the admin console on login.

While you are in there, make sure these two log settings are disabled: "Log resource events" and "Log file events". Those should only be on for debugging purposes. Otherwise they will fill up your Event Log with unnecessary junk. I might even just remove those two items.

nevermind, i just restarted the service.
