Creating Accounts

Post by Supersonics »

I am trying to create accounts for an online group who I don't know personally. I tried using unique fake emails ([email protected]) just so I could build their accounts and it worked. But logging in a 2nd time, I am not being prompted for a validation code. Is there any way to get around this? I don't want to see their personal emails and have them contacted with system wide emails that we send out. I would rather just keep this anonymous. Any advice? Thanks

Blank out the '"Val code" setting in those accounts. Or turn off email validation in the system settings (System tab -> Account Settings -> Validate email addresses). Were you creating those accounts using the client interface? That's the only way you would get a validation code message. If you create accounts for other people in the server interface, you shouldn't have this issue.

I cleared out the Val Code setting and it worked. Thanks Kent!
