Player claims no prompt to re-buy in tournament

Player claims no prompt to re-buy in tournament

Last night, during our regular Sunday re-rebuy tournament, a player claims he was not offered an opportunity to re-buy after busting out. No other players reported a similar problem. the logs show this at the time he busted out:
  • 2021-04-12 01:21:17|Connect|(playername) disconnects session 00000EFF, PC 49ECE528
    2021-04-12 01:21:19|Connect|Connection 00000F2B accepted from IP 69.161.163.33, PC 49ECE528 (players IP)
    2021-04-12 01:21:20|Logout|(playername) logged out session 00000EFF, PC 49ECE528
    2021-04-12 01:21:20|Login|(playername) logged into session 00000F2B from IP 69.161.163.33, PC 49ECE528
Question: what is the difference between "disconnect" and "logged out?" Perhaps that is the answer.

The player disconnected, either because his internet connection dropped or he closed his browser tab. He then reloaded the client, which gave him a new login session (and simultaneously logged out his old session). My guess is that he disconnected right as he busted out and thus wasn't there to see the "last chance" rebuy button.
