Rebuy during late-reg period

Currently there's a bit of drama when a player wants to rebuy after busting out during late reg. period. I've had both cases happen;
1) Player doesn't have enough chips in his account. Since he didn't manage to transfer funds to me and me adding chips to his account, he was out of the tournament in the rebuy period.
2) Player mis-clicked after busting out in the rebuy period.

Any reason why a seated player can't rebuy after the 20 second window passes? Or rather - can you please make it so they can rebuy during the rebuy period if they're busted out? :)

Nothing much I can do about #1. If they don't have the funds for a rebuy then what are you proposing? For #2, if they bust out they are presented with a Rebuy and a Leave button. If they "mis-clicked" the Leave button then they are gone. There's no do-over, the game has to continue on. You don't get to skip hands in tournament play. That said, if you switched from a rebuy to a re-entry tournament, that should solve both of these issues (assuming you give the player in #1 enough time to refund his account before the late reg period ends).

Actually, ignore this.

I wasn't aware of the may not skip a hand rule (!) so my approach would've been to treat it as a cash game but TDA doesn't agree me. :)

For others who wasn't aware of this;
