Restart After Reboot

Post by Ninebarks »

I have my system (LITE) set to restart after a reboot (usually caused by Microsoft) and a Ring Game and a Tournament to stay online.

All that works fine. However, if I need to edit something, when I try to access the item I get a message telling me that Poker Mavens Server is already running and access is denied.

The only way I can stop it is to open Task Manager. select Poker Mavens Server, right click, and End Task. I can then make my edits and restart.

Do I have something set wrong? Is there a way to avoid this?

Thanks.

Likely Poker Mavens was started under a different Windows user account. And then you logged into WIndows and tried to start it again. Bring up the Windows Task Manager, look under Processes, check the "Show processes from all users" option and see what user name owns the PMServer.exe process. You can prevent Windows from rebooting by going into Windows Update and turning off automatic updates.
