I know it's been brought up before, but I was wondering if there was ANY possibility you might be able to implement multiple re-entry in an update to version 6??? We have made do with rebuys as a workaround, but having the ability to re-enter after being knocked out (as long as within the re-entry period and no payouts have taken place) would permit us to eliminate the multiple rebuys and still have a tournament in which people can get a complete re-do.

The dailies at the local casinos in LA generally consist of an entry fee, a single rebuy (no chip limitation) and no additional addon. If a person gets felted prior to the first (or sometimes the second) break, they can start fresh by re-entering for a full buyin. If a person hasn't felted but chooses to re-enter anyway, upon re-entering their leftover chips are removed from play.

(they generally permit the re-entry and rebuy THROUGH the break rather than cutting it off at the end of a level).

I don't know if this is something that you can get into v. 6, but I at least wanted to ask. Please.

We did a rebuy tournament the other night, and two people didn't have enough in their account to cover the rebuy and by the time they texted me/loaded their account, they had timed out and couldn't re-enter. I worked around it by just telling them, that night only, to create a new account and register, but it was a little annoying they couldn't just re-enter when a fresh entry could still join.

Is it possible to get response on this one? It's very common these days to have re entry tournaments.
Rebuy tourney is kinda dead even on pokerstars.

It's under consideration.

I also would like to have a re-entry option. This would solve the problem not being able to add funds to an account to make a re-buy during the allowed time. Re-entry would solve this.

This change would also introduce a new issue, that is should the re-entry be counted as a separate entry in tournament affecting the number of payouts or just count like a re-buy. I can see the need to have both options.

Any non-trivial change always does that.

They would appear multiple times in the tournament results file (which creates another set of issues) so most likely they would be treated as separate entries.
