Does the API support gameplay?

Does the API support gameplay?

I’ve reviewed the APIs and see calls for pulling reporting data but can’t find support for gameplay. I’d like to re-skin the game with higher definition graphics among other things. Is it possible to leverage the game engine via API’s?

The API only contains administrative functions.
