Idea : Animated tables.

I've created a couple and they were really cool during play.

Just use GIF format, reduce the loop to the amount of time you want the animation to play or have it continuous (which can get annoying depending on what it is). The size/quality balance is the biggest issue.

Sounds interesting. Do you have an example you can show? Curious what that would look like and if it would be too distracting.

This one runs the animation for around 30 seconds (the time it takes for the tourney to start) ...

Anyone is welcome to use this bottom one, it's not great and we ended up using a different version.

dpi only has meaning when the image is rendered on a surface of a known physical dimension. It's irrelevant to the image itself.
