Internet Disconnection Pot stake

I heard that some online software allows any person in the hand that gets disconnected, a proportional piece of the pot if he has the winning hand as if he was all-in at that point of disconnection and the rest would be side pot. That is supposing he does not get back in under normal requirements such as 60 second extension or autocheck.
