Tournament wasn't recorded

I just finished a tournament where the results weren't recorded in the TourneyResults and the callback never fired.

I checked the log and the appropriate people were paid.

Nothing was changed between the last tournament and this tournament and the particular tournament in question was run once already today.

Any thoughts?

Is there any chance some other program had that file opened so that it could not be written to by the server module? Other than being out of disk space, that is about the only thing that would prevent the recording. In any case, I would shut down and restart.

I don't think so, but I will test that as well because I'm curious if that'd break something.

But I did discover something interesting when we went to play that tournament again. It's still running with 0/7 players playing.



I blanked the names out of both the playing list and the waiting list since some are offensive, but you should get the idea.

Apparently I can't edit posts but I forced the tournament offline and it fired the callback correctly and wrote the tournament to today since it crossed over midnight.
Here's the details of the tournament if it helps. Names blanked again.

Sounds like the tournament thread go corrupted somehow and did not end properly.

I've made some changes to the structure since then. If it happens again I will do it.

I changed the start time and ran that tournament with 3 players. I had two go all-in so one got knocked out. Since it was a chop tourney, it ended with 2 players, and created the tourney results file. It has a 300 second (5 minute) reset time so it held the finished list for that amount of time. And then it took itself offline since max runs was set to 1. So it all went as expected on my test.
