I also ran it with 7 players and it ended normally. What does the handhistory show for the last hand played in those tournaments?

I changed the start time and ran that tournament with 3 players. I had two go all-in so one got knocked out. Since it was a chop tourney, it ended with 2 players, and created the tourney results file. It has a 300 second (5 minute) reset time so it held the finished list for that amount of time. And then it took itself offline since max runs was set to 1. So it all went as expected on my test.
This definitely isn't a regular thing.
This is actually the first time this has happened to this particular tournament. The 30 or so previous ones (but with minor changes) have executed and completed as expected.

The first post I made about this topic was for a completely different tourney with a different structure.

When this occurs, it doesn't actually "complete". A completed tournament usually says "Completed/Resetting" (or something like it) but a broken tournament typically says "0/12 Players"

I just wanted to check that it declared a "finishes tournament in place #1" line, which it did. So the table thread apparently completed normally but the tournament thread never exits its game loop to reset. The fact that it only happens sporadically makes it hard to hunt down the cause.

Same concept as taking it to a mechanic and it doesn't make the noise.

If there's anything else I can do, let me know.
