Websocket Connection Error - Have setup port forward

Post by AshAsh »

I have setup Port forwarding on my router and open the ports on Windows Firewall. Once I did this I can get the site login page and it appears to connect. I then get Websocket connection error.

What have I missed?

Sounds like you got the File Port correct in the port forwarding but not the Packet Port. So double-check that. Or send me a screenshot of your router settings and I'll take a look.

Here is the screen I get when I log in with a browser on my S8. If I connect to my home wifi it works correctly.

I don't have any experience with Windows Defender but the port forwarding looks correct. Email me your URL and I'll try to connect. Mention AshAsh from the forum.
