First, you are indeed talking like a "noob" for not understanding that many past clients may not want their website addresses posted in an internet forum where hackers and scammers can easily find URLs to exploit.noobie wrote:good morning mateWebmedia wrote:Hello buddy,
How do u expect us showing a demo here?
We need Teamviewer , and our demo is on VPS We will give accses too.
We can show demos for ALL of the scripts we offer.
If u are realy intrested , Why wont u contact us? i dont get it.
just give us a link of work You have done or if You have a site to sell. IMO it is
the best to discuss it openly here so every one can jump in if something looks fishy or
is not right. a good example is this thread
http://www.briggsoft.com/forums/viewtop ... f=7&t=1881
UGPBTC tried to fool us and aandy jumped in with some interesting info. and after I asked UGPBTC
to give some work samples or URLs he just said the same like You "contact me" and then disappeared.
I am really interested to buy a nice working gold PM site. but the whole info should be here in thread and
for buying I will contact You to make the payment if we agree on price and details.
It certainly would be great if there were well-established sites which developers could point to publicly, but that is simply not going to happen very often.
Go look in Kent's Public Gallery of PM sites http://www.pokermavens.net/
and note that there are not that many listed compared to the many licenses which have been bought. So, obviously, some people are not that eager to widely publicize sites that are more exclusive or that can only benefit from a few hundred users at a time...
I certainly would not give my permission for a coder to post links to my site in places where I have not approved the links...
and I do not want to attract attention to my site except when *I* want to publicize it.
I would view that as a violation of Confidentiality.
Similarly, if I am working on my own sites under development, I am not going to encourage traffic from unknown people lurking in forums who may try to exploit vulnerabilities that may be present before my site is ready to launch.
However, any developer who is planning on selling their services needs something to use for demonstration purposes.
And I would be leery of hiring anybody whose experience is so limited that they have not even finished their own working demo site.
I would really want to see evidence that these developers actually do know what they are doing...
Don't be so quick to condemn what you do not understand....makes you sound like a Noob.
As far as catching people lying goes, I am sure you can ask for references from the webmasters whose site links you are given via skype or email.
