Poker Mavens 4.02 Released

Post by Kent Briggs »

Upgrade page:

http://www.briggsoft.com/patches.htm

Changes:

Added disconnect protection. There are two new features: First, if a player disconnects and then reconnects with less than 10 seconds before their turn times out, they are given the full 10 seconds again to act (but only once per turn). Secondly, when a player is down to 3 seconds to act in their turn, the server will send a ping packet to the client, which will normally respond immediately with a pong packet. If the server does not get a response by the time the turn has expired, it will assume a disconnect has occurred and will activate the player's time bank for them automatically (if there is any time left in their bank). The dealer will post a "Disconnect protection activated for x" message in the chat. There is a corresponding "Disconnect protection" setting in the "Dealer Chat" group on the Language tab for that.

Added lobby chat callback event. Now you can get notified each time a message is posted in the lobby chat.

Fixed ring game dead blind bug. This bug only occurred in a specific situation where the small blind was equal to the big blind and a player had re-entered the game after letting both blinds pass while sitting out.

One thing i did notice now with the upgrade, it removes people who have registered in tournaments from the events.

Stopping the program does that. Use the Registration Saver utility:
