Amazon seems to be offering a Desktop option for Windows called Workspaces.
Is it possible to run Poker Mavens on their desktop product?
It says you can install your won licensed 3rd party software (I think)...
I am just not able to figure out from reading it whether you can do the remote login...?
Can anybody help me decipher this, please?
Being able to use Amazon for ALL my sites would be a good thing...
I am sick of having to pay two different hosting companies...

This looks like a service for corporations to simulate a Windows 7 desktop in the cloud for their employees. I think Amazon has other VPS-like cloud servers that would be more suitable. I haven't tried them, however.social wrote:https://aws.amazon.com/workspaces/details/

then I would greatly appreciate it being shared here.
I have heard that it is easy to build up HUGE debts to Amazon if you do not know what you are doing...
so I am looking for any help that I can find...paid or otherwise.

You probably don't want Workspaces, but I've been running PM4 on my Windows 7 desktop for over a year with no issues, so using an instance type in the t2 class should be fine. A t2.medium is more powerful than my desktop specs.

I am not clear why you say that, given that it seems to include free hosting for a year,DrStrangepork wrote:You probably don't want Workspaces,
and there is no way that my home internet connection or laptop could handle the traffic which I expect to get
in the coming year.
