Pocketing Protection

Post by csebal »

Hey There,

I didnt really see this posted already so here it is.

In my opinion people should not be allowed to rejoin a ring table with less chips than what they did left the table with, unless a certain time has passed since they left - say 1-2 hours.

Some people do join with minimum buyin and leave literally every time they won a hand, just to rejoin with minimum again. The above mentioned method is a rather standard way to protect against such behavior.

What do you think?

Yes, "rat-hole" prevention is on my to-do list. I plan to add a setting so you can set how many minutes must pass before someone can return to the same table with less than what they left with. I know that Pokerstars uses 30 minutes for theirs.
