Ok I wanted to use one of my domain names http://www.americanfunzon.com to log on to the server with out the users having to put the port number in.
Works great using a foward function to the ip of the server plus the 8087. people can now just enter the http://www.americanfunzone.com web address and will be taken directly to the server.
only problem is that now the server list on pokermavens is broken for my server . It tries to put the extra :8087 to the end of the web address and will not load.
If I just point the domain name to the server port with out the 8087 it works fine except everyone has to type the extra bit.
what am I doing wrong . the server name in the list is all american poker series

Re: names for server
A web address without an explicit port number attached is using port 80. So you must set your File Port to 80 to do that, otherwise it appends your file port since it has no way of knowing you're using a forwarded URL.dustoff wrote:Ok I wanted to use one of my domain names http://www.americanfunzon.com to log on to the server with out the users having to put the port number in.
