cant open the game in internet explorer

cant open the game in internet explorer

hi

I bought vps and copied the .exe game file to the desk top of the vps
i installed it and setup all the setting and hit start

I also enabled both IPs for local and remote testing

but when i enter any of teh ips or teh site domain in the vsp browser i get page not found

n e one knows why :S

Most likely the Windows firewall is blocking you. Add the PMServer.exe file and the File and Packet ports to the firewall exception list.

after installing the application on the vps i get the admin panel icon on teh desktop of teh vps i opened that and put all teh setting required.

when ppl log on the domain or ip how will the c the game panel if theres no html page that has itembeded.
shouldnt there be an index page or something :S ???

Your IP with the File Port included on the end (unless it's 80) is the equivalent of an index page because the Poker Mavens server acts as a web server on its file port (8087 is the default) and will serve an HTML wrapper page to the browser that connected there. That HTML wrapper then pulls the player flash file from the server and starts it.

What do you have set for the following properties on the Poker Mavens System tab:

Internet IP address
File Port
Packet Port
Local IP address

internet IP address is the address of my vps ?

the ports are defaults ?

and local IP can be left blank if the lookup IP option is set to yes right ?

Double click the Internet IP address property and then click the Lookup button to fill it in automatically. The Local IP must be also be set the same as your Internet IP address on a VPS (on a home PC, it would be your LAN address instead). Double click that property and you should have a check box for it. You can also include the 127.0.0.1 localhost address if you wish for local testing.
