Compatible online hand replayer?

Post by CCCP »

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone's found an online hand replayer that is compatible with Poker Mavens. I found http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/ and it works fine, except at the showdown (it doesn't show the opponents cards). It'd be good as well if the one you've found can be embedded into a blog.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Edit: I should have probably added this to a discussion that was already open, rather than starting a new thread. Apologies.

Edit2: I've had a look through various sites' HHs, and all that I could find use the word "shows" before the card descriptions at showdown. I'm not sure if including "shows" in the Poker Mavens HH would fix anything, but it would make it consistent with other sites. May be worth implementing as long as it is an easy thing to do (and doesn't stuff up any of the 3rd party code which has been written to parse the current Poker Mavens HHs).

Edit3 (argh): I just tested this with http://www.pokerhandreplays.com/ and manually included "shows" before the hand descriptions and it works perfectly. So, it would be great if you could make this change to the HHs in your next version. If that's not possible, I'll have to find some way of parsing the HHs through a converter. Not as easy, but still possible. This feels really stupid talking to myself btw :?

Eg. Poker Mavens
** Pot Show Down ** [6d 2c Jd Ac 2d]
mistakenly [6c Ts] has Two Pair, Sixes and Deuces +A
kiwigt [Qd Kd] has a Flush, King high +QJ62
kiwigt wins Pot (95) with a Flush
Rake (5)

Absolute
*** SHOW DOWN ***
ILUV_H8POKER - Shows [10h Ac] (One pair, jacks)
PROFPLEISCHNER - Shows [3s 3h] (Two Pair, jacks and threes)
PROFPLEISCHNER Collects $14.27 from main pot

Party
** Dealing River ** [ 3s ]
kalimeroo shows [ Ah, As ] a pair of aces.
MadeInUSSR shows [ Kd, Kh ] a pair of kings.
kalimeroo wins $35.30 from the main pot with a pair of aces.

Stars
*** SHOW DOWN ***
sairbair100: shows [3c 3d] (four of a kind, Threes)
Tensho: mucks hand
sairbair100 collected $247.20 from pot

I'm amazed that works at all since it wasn't specifically programmed for the Poker Mavens format.

I'll take a look at it.

That's an amazing turnaround on your response and fix.

Kent... you are a superstar.

For everyone else out there, pokerhandreplays.com now seems to be compatible with Poker Mavens. Great stuff if you're running a website or blog.

I own a custom handreplayer script from the same coder who did the handreplayer site...does the same stuff.
It also lets you create your own animated hands for demonstrating lessons or key hands.

I am willing to give a copy of it to somebody who can make it work with Poker Mavens,
and who will help me build up a poker mavens site which can do all of the things that centpoker,
http://www.ourplayersclub.net, and http://pokersharkz.net have on their sites.

Ive contacted the support people for pokerhand.org and pokerhandreplays.com to ask them kindly if they can add support for pokermavens. Hopefully they can have support for the server based hand histories for ring and tournament by the end of the year or early next year.

Stay tuned. Ill let you know how I go

I tried converting this hand:

Hand #250-1 - 2009-12-28 20:50:32
Game: No Limit Hold'em (2000 - 10000) - Blinds 50/100
Site: MWPT Online Hold'em
Table: NLHE High Stakes HU
Seat 1: Dr_Strngpork (10000)
Seat 2: Mr_Victor (10000) - waiting for big blind
Dr_Strngpork has the dealer button
Dr_Strngpork posts small blind 50
Mr_Victor posts big blind 100
** Hole Cards **
Dealt to Mr_Victor [Jd Th]
Dr_Strngpork raises to 300
Mr_Victor raises to 1000
Dr_Strngpork raises to 3700
Mr_Victor calls 2700
** Flop ** [Ks 9d Qh]
Mr_Victor checks
Dr_Strngpork bets 6300 (All-in)
Mr_Victor calls 6300 (All-in)
** Turn ** [5h]
** River ** [Qc]
** Pot Show Down ** [Ks 9d Qh 5h Qc]
Dr_Strngpork shows [As Kd] (Two Pair, Kings and Queens +A)
Mr_Victor shows [Jd Th] (a Straight, Nine to King)
Mr_Victor wins Pot (20000) with a Straight
Dr_Strngpork adds 10000 chips

It came out a mess showing four players in the hand and I'm not sure how or why:

Is it just me that this is happening to?

I clicked the link and then the Play button and it just showed 2 players (plus some "Play Now" advertisements).

With pokerhandreplays.com ive noticed That it doesn't like "side pot 2" and sometimes "split pot". I did ask the support guys there about the compatibility and they were going to get back to me. I plan on following up with them in the new year cause I'm on holidays now.
