SB/BB move to the wrong players

Post by selene »

Related to the one where you can reraise yourself most likely, if the SB or BB lose all of their chips, the Sb/BB get assigned to the wrong person the next hand. My guess is since the list of players change they don't point to the right place.

I believe it happens here on hands 5 and 6.

It looks correct to me. There are two methods for button movement. Poker Mavens uses the "button always move" method in accordance with Robert's Rules of Poker, section 4, rule 2a:

http://www.briggsoft.com/docs/pmavens/R ... m#section4

If the SB busts, then the BB gets to skip a SB. If you use the dead button method then someone gets the button twice in a row. Either way, someone will get a slight advantage. I prefer the first method. I believe PokerStars and Full Tilt use this also.

Here's a truncated view of those hands:

Ahh sweet, this was just mentioned by a player, maybe he doesn't know. I will look out for truly odd behavior. Otherwise let's consider this ignorance and not a bug for now.
