Re: Hello
Everything except the System settings are stored in the Data folder. On Poker Maven's System tab, check the "Data folder" setting in the "Server Settings" group. By default it's something like this on Windows XP:inola wrote:What file do I back up to keep the poker table settings and accounts?
I have to reformat our server.
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Poker Mavens\
or this on Vista:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Poker Mavens\
Note there are several subfolders in there to copy. This may be a hidden folder so if you are using Windows Explorer you might have to tell it to display hidden folders under Tools/Folder Options/View.
The System Settings are stored in the Windows registry. If you're familiar with REGEDIT, run it (Start/Run/type in "regedit") and navigate your way to:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Briggs Softworks\Poker Mavens 2
Right-click on "Poker Mavens 2" and select Export from the menu to save as a .reg file. Copy that file to the new system and then double-click it from Windows Explorer and it'll put it back in the registry at the right place automatically.

Re: Hello
Kent do you ever have problems with 1&1 vps?
Our 1&1 vps does weird things sometimes it is shut down without me shutting it down, I also have to re-image it every two weeks or so because cpu usage all of the sudden just stays at 100% with nothing running. Ive talked to 1&1 about it they are dumb founded, they told me all cpus at 100% is normal o.0

Re: Hello
Yeah, they seem to reboot their systems every few weeks. If you run "net statistics server" at the command prompt you can see the last reboot time. I figured they were doing Windows system updates or something. It of course takes my demo server offline since that logs out the Admin account and I have to reconnect with Remote desktop to restart it. I've never had to re-image, however, and never noticed any cpu usage issues.inola wrote:Kent do you ever have problems with 1&1 vps?
