Stop on Chop Bug

Post by The MPC »

I'm currently running a satellite 10 person max SNG that awards two tickets to another tournament.

Tables = 1
Seats per table = 10
Minimum Players = 5
Stop on chop = yes
Payout Sturcture = 5-10, 50.00, 50.00
Payout Tickets = x, x (two tickets to the same tournament)

When we get down to 2 players, regardless if there were only 8 players signed up or it was maxed out at 10 players, the tournament doesn't not automatically stop.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong or is there a bug associated with Payout Tickets and Stop on Chop?

Thanks

Email me your Tournaments.xml file and the hand history file for the time it didn't stop and I'll try to reproduce that.

I received your files and I see the problem. You have a freeroll with no buy-in. So there's no prizepool to chop and thus the setting is ignored. Otherwise the tournament would stop immediately without playing a single hand. The chop setting does not take ticket payouts in consideration on when to stop, it's only based on the prizepool.

This issue has now been fixed in version 5.21, you can now chop freerolls that have ticket payouts.
