Disable Account feature

Post by nick »

Hello,
An important thing the Maven's server is missing is the "disable account" feature, there is no way to disable an account except to delete it or to block the PC , blocking the PC doesn't stop the account from logging from another machine, changing it's password doesn't do much neither since it can be retrieved again by email.

If a simple message appears upon login for disabled users like " This account is disabled, please contact support" it would be like a dream come true..

The "disable" feature is a must for problamatic users , please look into it.

Thank You

Nick

The disable Chat feature works very well for getting a player's attention.

Still suspending login privilages might be good. I would be carefull not to use that too readily unless your support response time is very fast. Might just lose the player entirely.

This is EXACTLY what the blacklist does!

If you add a player to the blacklist their account still exists but they can't log in. They get the 'banned by Administrator' message.

Now with the new Language features, you can even set that blacklist message to whatever you want them to see when they try to log in.
