I like the implementation of custom colors into Poker Mavens, but I would really like to be able to elaborate this feature.
I would love to see a feature that would allow users to customize their playing experience with a theme. For example, allow for theme files if that what you would call it and pass it as a parameter into the client. Kinda how the client will auto login by passing the u/p to the server. I hope you see what im saying, it sounds good in my head

Re: Themes
Well a theme is a graphic design, down to the pixel level, which someone has to design. The only way to pass that as a parameter would be to compile all of your themes into the client in advance, which would increase its size to millions of bytes.imperialized wrote:I like the implementation of custom colors into Poker Mavens, but I would really like to be able to elaborate this feature.

Re: Themes
I was thinking more along the lines of like a dat file or something external. This would include things like:
the location of the table background and all the custom color settings. a simple form where u fill in the info and save the information. Pretty much like the same way you have it now only link it to a file rather than fill out all the stuff right into the server interface.

I know this is a double post, but do you think this will ever be considered or implemented?

Yes, but probably not until version 3.xx. The current system isn't designed to let every player pick their own graphics/color scheme.imperialized wrote:I know this is a double post, but do you think this will ever be considered or implemented?

Good to hear, I love the software and that would make me even more likely to upgrade to version 3.0
