It would be nice if SOME of the fields in a tournament setup could be edited while the tourney is online. I'm thinking particularely of the "bonus" field. That way we could add-on a # of chips per player. Some of our sponsors would like to hold tourneys where they put up, say, $5 per player rather than hosting a $500 tourney.

If we do that now, we have to take the tourney off-line to put the bonus pool in. Then we have to re-register all the players.

Better yet, the bonus field could have 2 settings! The bonus amount could be a "total" or "per-player"!

That would be the way to do it. It would be too late to edit the live settings after the prize pool distribution was calculated.
