Extra Chips in tournaments for Early Reg?

Would be great if we could award extra bonus starting chips to players who register on time for nightly tournaments.
EXAMPLE: Early/On-Time registered players get 12K starting chips and Late Reg players get 10K starting chips. This would be a huge help getting tournaments of on time.

Features with wide appeal are typically the first ones implemented. How long is your late registration period? Why not just shorten or eliminate it if you don't want it to be used?

Most card rooms that offer live tournaments always offer extra bonuses for arriving on time. I agree its not seen much or at all online. Some people like to avoid the early rounds as strategy and some people are just lazy. I typically don't get hundreds of players for my tournaments so the more people I get to reg on time the better... I'm a small club. Thx for responding.

I would also be interested in something like this.
Half my crew likes playing as soon as we get 3 or 4 people while others are stragglers that still want in 30 minutes later.

I was thinking of implementing something like this where (for example) it's a 1500 buyin but you get 200 refunded via API calls after the tournament starts.
Then anyone joining afterwards would have to pay full price.

I'd still love a native option.
