As a wish:
I would like to advertise our poker site a bit more on our homepage by having a sidebar widget displaying info about the server, perhaps users online or ring games and tournament games in-session with at the moment ranks displayed.

Does that sound possible and useful Briggs?

Yes, that's all possible now via the API. The people at http://www.centpoker.com are doing that sort of thing at their site. They show the top 10 chip leaders, the number of people currently online, and the status of all tournaments.
