Server Reboot, Crush recovery

Post by admiral »

Good afternoon! Could you tell me how recovery after an unexpected reboot server?
How work crush recovery with detail...?

Conditions:
1. Playing a freezeout tournament.
2. Playing rebuy tournament. Made a few rebuys.
3. Playing the cash.

Suddenly a server reboot occurs.

How will chips be returned to players in each game?

As tables are running they create files in the CrashProtect folder in the data folder. Ring game files contain player names and stack sizes while tournament files contain the remaining players and remaining prizepool. If Poker Mavens starts up and finds any files in that folder it means that an abnormal shutdown occurred. It then credits ring game players with their last known stack whereas tournament players are credited with an equal share of the remaining prizepool. This all gets recorded in the Event Log so check there first. There's no guarantee that this will all work perfectly as the crash could have affected the creation of those crash files.
