PM Port
What are the pros/cons to running PM on port 80 or 443 versus 8087 and 8088? I am struggling to get a redirect to work from port 80 to port 8087.

Re: PM Port
The pros are that 80 and 443 are the default ports for HTTP and HTTPS so they don't have to be included in your URL. Also, you don't have to worry about PHP outbound firewalls on your web server if running API code. A lot of hosting services tend to block outbound http connections to non-standard ports. The only con is that you cannot use those ports and run a web server on the same machine because it will use them for itself.LVPokerClub wrote:What are the pros/cons to running PM on port 80 or 443 versus 8087 and 8088? Avoid redirects, forwarding, frames, etc., especially to raw IP addresses. Browsers are increasingly suspicious of those connections.LVPokerClub wrote:I am struggling to get a redirect to work from port 80 to port 8087.
