Pause Tourney and Rebuy

Post by social »

Is it possible to Pause a Tournament and change the settings for how much Rebuys will cost - right in the middle of the Tourney?

I am also looking for a way to offer Rebuys only to Special Members during a Tournament...

I was thinking of Charging some Huge Fee for the Rebuy - like 10,000 chips - and then manually putting 10,000 chips in the accounts of the Special Members so that they are the only ones who could afford the rebuy...

any other more elegant ideas on how to do this would be appreciated.

I don't see where one can Edit Posts and Subscribe to Topics...
Where/how do I do these things?

You can only edit a tournament (or ring game) when it is offline.

I have post editing disabled. The thread subscribe link should be in the bottom left (standard phpBB forum). Also when you are creating a post, there is a "Notify me when a reply is posted" box.

So, can a Tournament be Paused, Taken Offline, Edited, and then Restarted with no negative consequences of loss of data?

Taking a running tournament offline boots everyone out and splits the prizepool evenly. Halted tournaments cannot be restarted. Taking a not-yet-started tournament offline unregisters all players but there is a standalone "Registration Saver" app on the Utilities page to handle that situation:
