Mr Briggs, is there any way to remove that information(login time column/info) from the lobby without messing up the client?

No, why would you want to do that?

Anyone chatting or playing is publicly visible anyway so it's not much of a secret. And you can enable lurk mode for people who only want to watch without logging in. Last action time is a server-side field, not displayed in the client.

The only configurable items in the lobby are the text labels (using the language feature) and the color scheme.
