'EONS POKER STARS (lite') is back online
Hi Kids! ... is there a way to *import* previous terney (and ring) configuration? I did manage to save an export file ( *.bs ... ?? ) but it looks to me lilke it'd have to be "reentered", at worst, sigh

Those are saved in your Poker Mavens data folder as RingGames.xml and Tournaments.xml. You have to back those up manually and the software only reads them when it is starting up.ggroeller wrote:is there a way to *import* previous terney (and ring) configuration?
The export function on the System tab only saves the system settings you see on that tab.

Kent, found previously exported "*.bs" (blind schedule) file and "*.ps" file (pay schedule) - and imported them both we're good to go again! ... that'll make us heads up with them crummy "Home Games" at that "other" site, heh
thanks for putting out great software!

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about those. They are independent of the main tournament settings.ggroeller wrote:Kent, found previously exported "*.bs" (blind schedule) file and "*.ps" file (pay schedule) - and imported them both we're good to go again!

Could you explain what functions these files allow, please?

When editing the settings for a tournament, you'll notice a Blinds Schedule and Payout Structure tab. Each of those has a "Save to File" and "Load from File" button so that if want to use non-default values in your tournaments, you don't have to re-type in all of those numbers.social wrote:Could you explain what functions these files allow, please?
