Would it be possible for any of these types of softwares to work with PM? Or is the core structure or flash client of the software so different that it would be impossible?

You mean like a HUD (heads up display) that operates in real time? Those are usually custom designed by their authors to scrape the screen for content, specific to the sites they targeted. Doubtful anyone would bother making one for PM.
