VPS - How to test capacity?

Post by npcardclub »

Hi All,

I'm wondering if anyone would be able to tell me approximately how many players my tournament could handle at one time? I currently have a VPS that is 2 CPU / 6 GB RAM.

If anyone else would like to post their VPS specs and how many players they've handled at once, that would be also be helpful.

Thanks.

I used to run my server on a hosted VPS ( I host it on my own virtual server now on my home network). The cloud vps had 2 vcpu and 4 GB of RAM. The most I had running at one time was 27 players in a tournament. The resource load for poker mavens is incredibly low. With 27 players, the cpu usage never really went above 5% or so and memory usage was neglible as was network bandwidth.
