Chat box remaining on Custom Graphic

I have made a color change for a specific game using paint.net and saved it as a PNG. It looks great live, except for when the Extended Chat is clicked. The usual chat remains, and the other table features move as usual. They are therefore obscured or overlain. I can't find how to attach screen shots to this post, but I will if guided.

Any ideas where I went wrong?

The chat box is a separate graphic. That's the only way it can be turned on and off like that. See the instructions here:

I think I get it.
I should save background, table and logo on the custom screen file, and the chat box in a separate file.
If I want to use the default chat box with the custom screen, I should leave the Table Chat Graphic field blank.

Is that correct?
