The Lite version is $39.95 USD, the Pro version is $149.95 USD. These are the first price increases for Poker Mavens in over 10 years. The Gold version remains at $499.95 USD. Customers who purchased a version 5 license on or after July 1 will receive a free upgrade. Customers who purchased on or after May 1 (but before July 1) are eligible for a 75% discount. All other license holders going back to version 1 are eligible for a 50% discount. Emails with details will be going out in the next 24 hours or so. Details on the new features are as follows:

Added 5-Card Omaha to game list.

Omaha-5 is played just like regular Omaha but each player gets 5 hole cards instead of 4.
They still must play exactly 2 hole cards and 3 board cards to make a hand.

Added Cap-Limit ring games for Holdem and Omaha.

Cap-Limit (or CL for short) plays like No-limit but each player cannot bet (or lose) more
than the table cap in each hand. The cap is typically set at 30 big blinds. Once you've
bet or called the cap limit in a hand, you are treated as being all-in even though you may
still have more chips in your stack.

Redesigned client lobby with larger game lists and better mobile support.

On the Logins tab, the lobby chat box has been moved to the right side, thus allowing for
a taller list of player logins. The Location column has been removed to make room but the
player's location still displays near the bottom when you click on their name.

On the Ring Games, Tournament, and SitnGo tabs, the player lists have been moved to a
separate popup dialog (invoked by Players button) so that more tables could fit in
the main list. This also helps out the mobile device players.

In mobile mode, the lobby has been scaled so that it looks the same (more or less) on
all devices. With the extra room provided by removing the player lists, the main tabs
have been put back in. The Open Tables tab has been reconfigured so that the table chat
is removed from the bottom of the table graphic and moved to the right side. This freed
up room to enlarge all the betting controls.

Android users can jump directly to full screen mode by tapping that option on the Options
menu. Apple iOS devices do not support this but they can still add the site to their home
screen and get full screen mode when launching from there. Rotating portrait to landscape
also gives full screen on an iPhone but when you tap the top menu, it bring the address
bar back down. Nothing much I can do about that.

Added secondary currency option to Gold edition.

Gold owners can now run tables in two different currencies, labeled internally as
primary and secondary. Each player now has a Balance and a Balance2 field in their
settings. You can distinguish these currencies by adding a currency symbol (described
below).

Added multiple language option to Gold edition.

Gold owners can now run in up to 5 languages simultaneously. Lite and Pro owners still
have the 1 custom language option. The Language tab has been redesigned for this new
feature. When you have an least 2 languages active, the players can choose from them
in the client lobby Options menu. You can also override that with a "Language" startup
parameter in the URL (example: http://..../?Language=2).

Added remote admin accounts with rights editor to Gold edition.

One final feature exclusive for Gold owners is the new remote admin rights editor. This
allows you to configure rights profiles and assign then to specific player accounts.
Then they can log into the remote admin interface and perform certain functions allowed
in their rights profile. You have very fine control of no access, read-only, or read-write
access to every field in the server.

Added fractional currency support in Lite and Pro editions.

Since Gold owners are getting a secondary currency option, I'm throwing a bone to all
Lite and Pro owners by turning on fractional chips. Previously only Gold sites could
use chips down to 0.01 denominations.

Added currency symbol support.

Previously the internal currency was just referred to as "chips" but that no longer
works with a secondary currency option. So there is now a "Primary currency format" and
"Secondary currency format" setting for placing a prefix and/or suffix around currency
displays in the client. The default value is "%1%" where %1% acts as a place holder
for the chip value. If you leave it like that then it will continue to label currency
as "chips". But you can add a prefix like "$%1%" to display in dollars (e.g., $1.23)
or use a suffix like "%1% btc" to display in bitcoin (e.g., 1.23 btc). I recommend
that you keep it short because it has to fit in the Buy-In column in the lobby window.

Added final table graphic option for tournaments.

There is now an option to have a separate table graphic for final tables of a
multi-table tournament. In addition, see next item:

Added separate table graphics option for ring games and tournaments.

Now each ring table and each tournament has the option to use their own table graphic.
If you leave that setting blank then it just uses your default graphic. Tournaments
can also have a separate final table graphic, overriding the default graphic mentioned
in the previous point.

Added "End break early" option for tournament final tables.

When a tournament gets down to one table (or starts with just 1 table) and a rest
break occurs, each player sees an "End break early" checkbox. If they all check it,
the break ends immediately. Players can also change their mind and uncheck it before
it becomes unanimous. The box also shows the count of how many haved clicked it.

Added synchronized tournament rest break option.

Tournament rest breaks are no longer sync'd to level changes. Now you can start them
at any minute interval with two options: (1) start them at specific minute intervals
from when the torunament started or (2) start them at specific minutes past the hour.
The latter option gives you the ability to sync the breaks across all running
tournaments (like for 5 minutes at :55 past the hour, etc.).

Added "Call Any" option to next move checkboxes.

This matches what most sites like PokerStars have always done.

Players can now configure their own quick bet buttons.

Previously these were hard coded to 3BB 4BB 5BB Pot (preflop) and
1/3 1/2 2/3 Pot (post flop). Now each player can reconfigure these, picking any
4 of these on preflop: Min 2.5bb 3bb 3.5bb 4bb 4.5bb 5bb 5.5bb 6bb Pot Max and
any 4 of these on postflop: Min 20% 25% 30% 33% 35% 40% 45% 50% 55% 60% 65% 67% 70%
75% 80% Pot Max.

Players can now choose between 12-hour and 24-hour time format.

This option is in the Lobby menu under Options -> Display Settings. It affects how
the various time stamps are displayed in the client.

Added "Proportional chop" option for tournaments.

When using the Stop on Chop option, you can now configure the payouts as a
mixture of proportional and equal distribution. For example, you can set this value
to 50 to replicate PokerStars "Fifty50" tournaments where 50% of the prizepool is
paid out proportionally (based on chip stacks) and the other 50% is paid out in
equal shares.

Added Save/Load Registrations to tournament tab "Action" menu.

If you need to make a change to a tournament setting before it starts but
already has registrations, you can use these functions to save the reg list,
make your change offline, reload the reg list. Although I made a separate utility
for this, you can now just do it in the Windows server console.

Added second tiebreaker to prevent ties in tournament finishes.

In earlier versions, when two or more people at a table were knocked out in the
same hand, their previous stack size would act as a tiebreaker to see who got the
higher place. But if they had the same stack size, they would show as a tie and the
next place number would be skipped. This could happen with multiple all-ins on the
opening hand. This doesn't work well when there are tickets in the prizepool, which
cannot be split. Previously it would give the ticket to the person with the lower seat
number. Now I use a second tiebreaker if they had the same stacks: whoever was in
the least advantagous position (i.e., closest to the dealer's left) gets the higher
place position. This by the way is the same tiebreaker when you have a split pot
and an odd number of chips to award.

Added "Maximum runs" setting to tournaments.

Previously you could set "Recur minutes" to -1 to take a tournament offline after
it ran once. I've removed that option from Recur minutes and added a new setting
where you can specify the exact count (or 0 to keep running).

Added "Payout fractions" setting to tournament.

Since I turned on fractional chips for Lite and Pro users, there may be some sites
that want to keep using only whole number chips. You can do that by setting this
value to "No". For ring tables, set the Smallest Chip size to 1, which was already
an option in previous versions.

Added Note field to rings games and tourneys, seen only by admin.

Someone requested this in the web forum. You can add a note to your tables, up
to 500 characters. Players will not see it.

Admin can now eject ring table players, manually or via API.

If for some reason you need to eject a player from a ring table or the waiting
list you can do that after clicking the View button on the Ring Games tab. There
is also a new RingGamesEject command in the API.

Admin can now edit fields in multiple tables and accounts at once.

Ever need to change one field on a dozen tables? Previously you had to do it
one at a time. Now you can select all you need and just click the Edit button.
Initially all fields are marked as "(unchanged)". Any field not touched will
remain the same. Any changes will update on all the selected tables. This also
works when editing player accounts.

Added Remote Admin button to System toolbar.

This displays a drop menu where you can invoke the remote admin interface on
localhost with your default browser or load the remote admin rights editor.
While the editor loads in all versions, only Gold owners can make use of it.
Here is where you create, edit, or delete admin profiles. These contain a list
of all the rights assigned to every field available in the remote admin
interface. Each player has an Admin Profile setting where this gets assigned.
A player with a non-blank profile can log into the remote admin interface using
their normal password. Exactly what they can do in there depends on the rights
assigned in the profile. You can assign the same profile to multiple accounts.

Added more groupings to System tab.

Just to tiddy up the ever-growing list of System settings, there are three new
groupings: "Admin Settings", "Chip Settings", and "Client Media".

Added "Duplicate IP whitelist" setting to System tab.

If you have "Allow duplicate IPs" set to No, you can now whitelist IPs to
exempt them from this restriction and thus let them log in even if they
match other logins.

Added Blacklist functions on Accounts tab.

This allows you to add selected player accounts to the site blacklist directly
from the Accounts tab. This function already existed on the Connections tab but
if you wanted to blacklist someone who already logged out, they would no longer
be on the Connections list and you had to add them manually.
