How does the pc recognition work?
There is someone that I blacklisted his PC, and he keeps trying to come back from many IP addresses.
I was wondering how does the program recognizes his pc.

Re: PC recognition
The PC ID is just a random number saved in the local settings on first connection and is not a reliable setting. Changing browsers or running in incognito mode causes a new number to be generated. Unfortunately, Javascript doesn't contain any hardware fingerprinting/identification functions.BitingBummer wrote:How does the pc recognition work?

So in fact there is no way to block him if he keeps changing the pcid and his IP address?Kent Briggs wrote:The PC ID is just a random number saved in the local settings on first connection and is not a reliable setting. Not unless you create your own custom ID verification (like a onverify.com phone verification type system, for example).BitingBummer wrote:So in fact there is no way to block him if he keeps changing the pcid and his IP address?
