so I uploaded the .swf to my server...what else do I need to do to make the game run on my website? Please help!

You don't need to touch the SWF file. It's automatically served to the player's web browser when they connect to your server running the Poker Mavens server module, which is a Windows application. The SWF client is worthless by itself, it has to communicate with that server module. See the Getting Started section of the help file included with the program.

but I would like to embed the flash game into my template in the open space...suggestions?

You can link to the game server but it runs in it's own browser window. Poker Mavens is not a web application, it supplies its own self-contained web server.

ok so for the internet IP address you put in http://yourdomain.com

the fileport is at 8087...

so when you go to http://yourdomain.com:8087 it should work right? it doesn't for me

Do you have a router? If so you have to set port forwarding in the router setup so that both your file port and packet port point to your local IP, in accordance with the instructions. Email me a screenshot of your system settings if you still can't get it to work.

is that the only way you can do it? is there a way you can do something with the server and game only?
