I have included the HH from the same tournament that ran on the 17th. You can see it apparently worked flawlessly.
The difference, it appears, is that on the 17th one player was removed and replaced by another so the tournament went on. On the 18th, both players from a single table were removed and that left an empty table in the tournament and confused the system. Somehow that must have caused an endless loop or a race condition with two locked threads and locked up the CPU. I haven't found that yet but I'll get a fix out soon regardless. In the mean I'd recommend turning off the no-show removal feature on multi-table tourneys, especially if there's a chance the whole table could be removed.

Thanks Kent.

Using 16 tables of 2 was an interesting way to run a simple heads-up format. I look forward to trying it again.

I think I have the no-show removal thing fixed. Email me if you want to try it in beta form.

I'd be happy to try it.

We haven't updated to the most recent version yet, though. Should I do that first?

You can send it to [email protected] if you like.

Easy Breezy!

Worked perfectly. Final hand of the suspect table below.

We've only had one game with tables of two. But there was one table with two no-shows. No problems at all.

I'll keep running this game every evening for a while and let you know if anything develops.

BTW, its not a proper Heads-Up levels tournament, but my players seem to like it. Nobody has even mentioned that one players usually gets to the final table with a huge chip lead.

Hand #53818-83 - 2009-08-22 21:10:24
Game: No Limit Hold'em (0+500) - Blinds 10/20
Site: Our Players Club
Table: Freeroll - Daily 50k HU - Table 2
Seat 1: betterbegod (1500) - sitting out
Seat 2: Heart002 (1500) - sitting out
betterbegod has the dealer button
betterbegod posts small blind 10
Heart002 posts big blind 20
** Hole Cards **
betterbegod folds
Heart002 refunded 10
Heart002 wins Pot (20)
Absent player betterbegod removed from tournament
Absent player Heart002 removed from tournament
** Deck ** [2s 8c 6d 4s]

Just to let you know,

There have been no problems with version 2.64 B1. It appears to have solved any problems with our modified Heads-Up format.

Thanks again,

Thanks again,
Thanks, I'll likely be releasing 2.64 in the next day or so.
