Are you logged in as Administrator? Make sure the old version isn't still running. Bring up the Windows Task Manager and make sure PMServer.exe isn't listed on the Processes tab. End it if it's listed there. Then run the patch again.

ok thanks even after app was shutdown there were still 3 instances of pmserver.exe running (just letting you know in case this is a new bug).
but killing them fixed the issue.
